Finally, I've received my copies. I would have gotten it earlier, but alas! the shipped address was wrong, therefore... returned to sender and re-shipped again to me, with apologies. I've received on 2nd Nov 2007.
This book is presented with good quality photos, a collection of weapons, the kind, many of us could possibly acquire. I especially appreciate the pages about women's keris and also the cultural, as well as mystical and symbolic aspects, explanations on some of the features. The biblo, I found it useful for further research...
Some of the author's ideas are questionable, most of the time, the author gives good references for her views.
On the other hand, more pictures from various angles would have been appreciated, rather than the mostly, one picture of each keris.
Overall I am glad that I bought this book. I've learned a fair bit from it, and got some new avenues to explore, for further studies.
